UT Southwestern Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists work side-by-side with physicians from the General Obstetrics and Gynecology division and community obstetricians to provide seamless patient care during pregnancy. Our Maternal-Fetal Medicine physicians offer a 24-hour a day high-risk consultation and referral service to obstetricians and their patients from the local community and throughout Texas and the southwestern United States. A maternal transport service for women experiencing complications during their pregnancy has recently been added. Working with a team of neonatologists staffing Dallas' first level III neonatal intensive care nursery, the doctors at UT Southwestern offer an extensive array of diagnostic, consultative, and treatment options for both mother and child.
