Urogynecology is the subspecialty of Obstetrics & Gynecology that treats women with pelvic floor disorders such as urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, voiding dysfunction, fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, constipation, pelvic pain, and sexual dysfunction. The Division of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery offers the full scope of diagnostic techniques and treatment options in order to provide the most comprehensive, state-of-the-art care for women with pelvic floor disorders.

Full-time clinical faculty from one of the largest divisions of urogynecology in the country are joined by a multidisciplinary team of nurse practitioners, physical therapists, and nurses. Surgical approaches to urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and fecal incontinence include all current and state-of-the-art techniques such as:


  • Vaginal repair
  • Abdominal repair
  • Laparoscopic repair
  • Collagen injections and
  • Interstim.
