Maternal-Fetal Medicine Sub-Internship (08-08)


The student will function as an intern within the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at UT Southwestern. He/She will be assigned 6-8 patients in the High-Risk Pregnancy Unit (5-South) at Parkland Memorial Hospital.

Externs will make rounds daily and be responsible for the care of assigned patients, including delivery.

 
  The student will have the opportunity to share his/her fund of knowledge with the on-service attending during daily ward rounds. He/She will see patients in OB Complications Clinic 3-4 afternoons per week.
