Each year we enroll approximately 15 outstanding students from a large pool of qualified applicants without regard for state or nation of residency. To be considered for admission, a student should submit the AMCAS application, MCAT exam scores, official transcripts and letters of recommendation. Applicants must also have substantive experience in laboratory research through undergraduate projects, summer research fellowships or post-baccalaureate work. Applicants should demonstrate a strong desire to pursue a research career related to medicine.
Nearly all of our graduates enter residency programs in one of the medical specialties and the vast majority are rewarded with their first choice. Thereafter, nearly all of our graduates ascend the academic ranks at medical schools throughout the country.
More than 80% of our graduates list research as their primary activity, usually with some clinical and teaching duties as well.
