 Fellows Leadership

An important aspect of fellowship training is the development of the fellow's leadership skills.  This is accomplished by the following:

  • Chief Fellow
One third-year fellow will be selected to be Chief Fellow.  As Chief, his or her responsibilities will include assisting the Program Director in the following areas: development of the fellows' rotation and clinic schedules, organization of fellows' conferences and lectures, selection of fellows attending national and regional meetings.  The Chief Fellow will also be the fellows' spokesperson.
  • Teaching of residents and students
All fellows are expected to play an integral role in the formal and informal teaching of rotating residents and students.
