UT Southwestern Medical Center operates its University Hospitals in two locations in the Southwestern Medical District. The Zale Lipshy building, at 5151 Harry Hines Blvd., has 151-staffed  beds and is home to one of the world's premier neurological treatment centers. UT Southwestern Medical Center physicians rely on the facility's neuroangiography unit as a vitally important factor in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disease.

The UT Southwestern blood and marrow transplantation program treats patients in facilities that include a dedicated 13-bed, HEPA-filtered unit. Patients are cared for by experienced hematologists and oncologists as well as ancillary personnel who ensure optimal management of all aspects of patient care.

UT Southwestern physicians specialize in diagnosing and treating patients with hematologic malignancies that include leukemia, Hodgkin's disease, non-Hodgkin's disease, multiple myeloma and myelodysplasia.
