Dilated or visible blood vessels on the face may be the result of many factors including sun exposure, genetics, skin type, and even rosacea. The best way to treat these blood vessels is to use a laser that specifically targets the blood cells in the vessel, causing the blood vessel to shrink and disappear in many cases.

Often, more than one treatment is necessary for optimal effect. There is usually very little recovery time with this procedure, although bruising and swelling may occur in some cases.

We use the Candela V-Beam Laser to treat Rosacea, visible blood vessels, port wine stains and keloid scars.  We also can perform Photo Dynamic Therapy for the treatment of acne with this laser.  If you want more information about the Candela V-Beam Laser click on the blue highlighted area.
