Our symposia & inservices are designed for teacher professional development.
This is not an event for students unless specially noted.

Note: The April 4th event is open to all middle and high school students. We encourage all teachers to invite female students to attend this event that will not only provide information but lab visits and time to talk one-on-one with researchers, physicians, and students.
To sign up, please send us an email with the number of students you will be bringing to this special event.

If you decide to not attend a STARS event for which you have enrolled, please make sure to call the STARS office to cancel your reservation. Some of our events have limited enrollment and your cancellation gives someone else a chance to participate. In addition, when planning our symposia we need to know beforehand how many teachers to expect when ordering food and preparing handouts. So, please "call to cancel" if you are unable to attend an event.
