For our April 27th meeting, Richard Scheuermann, Ph.D., Professor of Pathology, gave a lecture on Bioinformatics. Bioinformatics uses techniques in applied mathematics, informatics, statistics, and computer science to solve biological problems.  He talked about the ImmPort and the BioHealthBase Database that is used to gather and interpret data.  After the lecture, we discussed Post officer duties and held elections.
