For our March 30th meeting, Dr. Reade A. Quinton, Assistant Professor of Pathology, gave a lecture on forensic pathology/forensic science. He talked about the forensic sciences, details on how to become a medical examiner, and the role of a forensic pathologist. The observers really enjoyed the lecture, the stories, and especially the pictures. After the lecture, the students did a quick lab on extracting DNA from a strawberry using household products.
