Mar. 31, 2008 - Victor Stafford, UT Southwestern Willed Body Program

This month, we were given the opportunity to visit the Gross Anatomy Lab.  One of the anatomical embalmers, Victor Stafford, showed us the facilities and taught us about what happens to the donations given to the Willed Body Program.  He also showed us some body organs that had been donated to science.   It was a great learning experience for our group to see everything that goes into helping medical/physician assistant/physical therapy students learn about the body.
