How do the laws of thermodynamics relate to ice cream?
Kenneth (Buddy) Huffman, Ph.D., a postdoctoral fellow in Pharmacology, gave an entertaining and informative presentation about thermodynamics with an array of demonstrations, including using liquid nitrogen, at the April Exploring Post Meeting.  Afterwards, the students applied their knowledge to making homemade ice cream with liquid nitrogen!

A Special Thanks to the Program Presenters Rob Nordsell, Buddy Huffman, Ph.D., Rosie Ram, and Scott Younger from the Corey Lab in Pharmacology.
