Objectives Eligibility Funding
Degree Requirements
The goals of the Clinical Research Scholars Program are to:

provide a comprehensive, individual, multidisciplinary education in the principles and methods of clinical research and in the skills and strategies required for the development of successful research careers through a didactic curriculum focused on patient-oriented research;

provide an in-depth, practical, multidisciplinary, collaborative training experience in the planning, execution, and analysis of clinical research, initially through an apprenticeship in an ongoing research project and subsequently by the conduct of an independent research project;

promote the career development of the Clinical Research Scholars by ensuring a smooth transition to a tenure-track or clinical scholar track faculty appointment that will allow them to sustain their research in a multidisciplinary environment that will provide meaningful recognition for achievements in clinical research.
