The Department of Clinical Sciences is seeking an Assistant Professor. 

Assistant Professor (non-tenure research track) in the Department  of Clinical Sciences with secondary appointment in Internal Medicine/Hypertension is available for a Ph D biostatistician/biostatistical consultant with experience in the design and analysis of clinical studies in hypertension.  Experience should include both single- and multi-center trials. The primary responsibility will be to consult and collaborate with medical/scientific faculty to design clinical research studies and prepare/present results of studies for publication in peer-review medical journals and at scientific meetings.  Other duties include writing the statistical sections of grant proposals and scientific papers, and designing/maintaining studies databases. Additional duties include preparation/teaching of graduate/medical school seminars/courses that are not limited to hypertension. Positions provide opportunities for carrying out personal statistical research and for training to remain current in statistical theory and applications.
