The Department of Clinical Sciences is located on the South Campus' E Building (Fred F. Florence Bioinformation Center) on the fifth floor in suite 506. Below are some general driving directions to UT Southwestern Medical Center.
From southbound I-35E: Take exit number 432A for Inwood Rd/Southwestern Medical Center. Stay straight to go onto N. Stemmons Frwy. (service road); follow to Inwood Rd. intersection, turn left onto Inwood Rd.
From northbound I-35E: Take exit number 432A for Inwood Rd/Southwestern Medical Center. Stay straight to go onto N. Stemmons Frwy. (service road). Follow to Inwood Rd. intersection, turn right onto Inwood Rd.
From Central Expressway: Exit Woodall Rogers Freeway following signs to I-35E North to Denton. Take exit number 432A for Inwood Rd/Southwestern Medical Center. Stay straight to go onto N. Stemmons Fwy (service road). Follow to Inwood Rd. intersection; turn right on Inwood Rd.
From Dallas North Tollway: Take Mockingbird exit. Bear right to Mockingbird intersection. Turn right on Mockingbird. Follow Mockingbird to Inwood Rd. Turn left on Inwood.
From Ft. Worth/Arlington Area: Take I-30 east. Exit on Hampton North. Hampton becomes Inwood Rd. Continue on Inwood Rd. passing under I-35E.
From D/FW International Airport: South on International Pkwy S/TX-97 Spur S (Portions Toll). Merge onto TX-183 E toward Dallas/Irving. TX-183 E becomes I-35E S/US-77 S. Take exit 432A toward Inwood Rd./Southwestern Medical Center. Turn left onto Inwood Rd.
For all of the above directions once on Inwood Rd. take the Harry Hines Blvd. Southbound loop. Turn right on Butler. Turn right at the guard shack. Turn left at second driveway for Visitor Parking (Lot #7). The first 30 minutes are free. 31 minutes up to two hours, the rate is $2, with an additional charge of $1 per hour, to a maximum of $5 per day.
From the Visitor Parking Lot, walk across Butler and straight through the Plaza all the way past the flag poles. The building at the base of the plaza is the Fred F. Florence Bioinformation Center (E Building). Follow the hallway on the left as you pass the seals on the wall you should see a set of elevators. Take one to the 5th floor and follow the hallway. The Department of Clinical Sciences is the second door on the right (there is also a sign with our name and E5.506).
