PLASTIC SURGEON
Assistant Professor

The Department of Plastic Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas is seeking two BC/BE plastic surgeons at the Assistant Professor level. Applicants must have an interest in resident teaching and research as well as additional training in lower extremity reconstruction, hand/upper extremity surgery, microsurgery, burn reconstruction, myocutaneous and free flap experience and peripheral nerve surgery. Duties will include independently operating; staffing residents in major reconstructive surgical procedures at UT affiliated hospitals including the Dallas VA, Parkland Health and Hospital System, and Childrens Medical Center; instruct and participate in minor surgeries; conduct out-patient clinics; participate in didactic sessions, seminars and rounds with plastic surgery residents; and develop a clinical private practice at the University Hospitals / Outpatient Surgery Center. GENERAL PLASTIC SURGEON

HAND / MICROSURGERY PLASTIC SURGEON
Assistant Professor

The Department of Plastic Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas is seeking a BC/BE plastic surgeon at the Assistant Professor level.  Applicants must have an interest in resident teaching, research, and developing a national reputation in hand and microsurgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Specific duties include weekly staffing of residents in the Hand Clinics and the Operating Room for hand/upper extremity and microsurgery cases as well as participation/coordination of the weekly combined Plastic Surgery / Orthopaedic Surgery Hand Conference.  Other responsibilities include development of basic science research expertise in hand/ microsurgery as well as development of an academic private practice at UT Southwestern.  Send C.V. and letter of interest to Rod J.
