Professional Experience:
Curtis Jackson's professional experience involves developing and coordinating the implementation of intervention techniques designed to alter high-risk behavior. In addition, his responsibilities include curriculum development for small multi-session, high-risk groups, and providing training nationally to other health care professionals in the area of community level intervention and community assessment. Curtis also facilitates "Boys to Men", an on-going group designed to explore issues of importance for high risk minority adolescents between the ages of 15 to 21 with the goal of steering them away from or out of the criminal justice system and developing healthier lifestyles. He has 30 years experience in conducting behavioral interventions and trainings on assessments covering the United States.
Fun Facts:
Curtis has a strong interest in intervention development and evaluation in Africa.

Worked as coordinator for the City of New Orleans CDC sponsored KNOW NOW!HIV Testing and Social Marketing campaign 2001-2002.

Hobbies include: watching football, playing softball, desktop publishing, reading, traveling, playing spades, dominoes and roulette and participating in community service projects with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Rudy Garcia

Professional Experience:
Rudy has approximately 31 years of experience in the area of STDs/HIV/AIDS. He worked as a STD specialist instructor/trainer for 11 years with the Dallas County Health Department. Rudy has worked as health educator, trainer/instructor for N.I.D.A., the American Red Cross (English and Spanish), and the Training Center approximately 20 years. He has developed a male health curriculum for incarcerated youth, and co-created The Male Connection. His focus areas are youth, and the adult minority population. He is bilingual (Spanish), bicultural, and has worked with the Native American communities.
