Depending on the systems you log into and the version of client software installed, you may or may not get a prompt to change your password upon its expiration.  As a result, a process has been developed which allows you to subscribe to email notification of pending password expiration for your SouthwesternID.

Click Here to subscribe to email notification of password expiration.

You will first have to login to the iAim web site using your Southwestern ID and Password.

Once logged in you will be taken to the following page.

You have several options to choose from such as how many days prior to the password expiration you wish to be notified.

It will also prompt you after expiration based on your selected settings.

For additional information select the HELP button on the page (not displayed in this screenshot).

You can also log directly into the iAim web site & select Password Expiration Notification from the list of available links.

If you log into the iAim home page you will see this screen. If you select the link on the left navigation menu you will skip directly to the next screen below.

Once you receive an email of pending password expiration, you can change your password by selecting the Change Password link on the Navigation menu of this page which will take you to the page showed here.

Once here, simply enter your userID and current password followed by your new password.  Confirm the new password and you're done.

Another way to get there is from the main iAim web site.

Other methods include logging into Mednet,  GroupWise Web or the GroupWise Windows Client which will prompt you to change your password.
