Mission Statement of Women in Science and Medicine Advisory Committee

To enhance the visibility of women in science and medicine by selecting the annual female Visiting Professorship whose two-day visit is sponsored by the Southwestern Medical Foundation.

To provide advice and initiatives on issues related to women in science and medicine, with the ultimate goal to improve UT Southwestern for all.

To maintain the WISMAC Web-site/Newsletter and Directory, which are sponsored by the Southwestern Medical Foundation.
