The Reference Hemostasis Laboratory at Veripath is designed to assist clinicians with the diagnosis and management of patients with thrombotic and bleeding disorders. The Laboratory Director, Ravindra Sarode, MD, oversees the technical operations of the laboratory and evaluates new tests and technologies.
The laboratory offers a wide variety of tests for clotting and bleeding disorders; and, appropriate molecular genetic tests are offered in conjunction with the Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory at Veripath. Services include screening tests for clotting and bleeding disorders and circulating inhibitors, monitoring tests for anticoagulant therapy, and complex profiles to assist with the diagnosis of hemostasis problems.
