| The Surgical Pathology Laboratory offers consultative services for those difficult and perplexing cases that invariably arise in every surgical pathology practice. Most of our pathologists practice general surgical pathology, signing out a variety of cases each day. However, all have special areas of interest and expertise in the subspecialties of surgical pathology, including breast, genitourinary, gynecological, gastrointestinal, bone, endocrine, head and neck, soft tissue, kidney and ophthalmic pathology. We have a nephropathologist on staff who is experienced in the evaluation of renal biopsies both from native and transplanted kidneys. In addition, we can complement routine light microscopy with immunohistochemistry and electron microscopy if necessary. |
