Lost and found articles should be turned over to the University Police. If you find property that has apparently been lost, contact any of the University Police Officers or bring it by the police station and turn it over to the communications officer.

If you have lost an item, contact the University Police at extension 214-648-8311 to determine if there is a possibility that your property may have been found and turned in by someone else. Or, you can contact the communications officer on the 2nd floor of the Service Building in the Communications Office. The Service Building is next door to the Skillern Student Union Building.

Common items that are often placed in lost and found include, but are not limited to: Eye glasses, personal keys, state issued keys, purses, wallets, driver's licenses or I.D. cards, jewelry, clothing, umbrellas, checkbooks, credit cards, computer floppy discs, text books and back packs.

The Library and Skillern Student Union Building also maintain a lost and found collection and routinely turn the items over to the police department on a periodic basis.
