Description:
We offer whole genome scans to perform linkage analysis. We routinely the use the ABI marker set which provides 5 cM coverage and includes 811 markers. We can also perform scans at lower density by not running all the markers.

Sample Requirements:
We need 3 ul of genomic DNA (10 ng/ul) for each SNP. Thus a 5 cM genome wide scan (811 markers) would require ~2.5 ml of genomic DNA per sample. |
