Research interest

Principal Investigators: Margaret S. Pearle, M.D., Ph.D. and Jeffrey A. Cadeddu, M.D.: 214-648-7190

Laparoscopic Partial Nephrectomy

Our investigators are actively pursuing surgical improvements and new technologies to simplify and facilitate this technically challenging procedure.

Surgical Education and Evaluation

As minimally invasive surgery becomes more pervasive, the ability of surgeons to learn these new techniques and perform them safely become more important. Our investigators are national leaders in developing new skills assessment and training techniques, including virtual reality simulators.
