Post Doctoral Fellow Education

There is no Fellowship program in Medical Genetics.  Unlike other subspecialties, training in Genetics crosses Departmental lines and is considered a Residency.  The Department of Pediatrics is the sponsoring clinical Department.  The residency is managed through the McDermott Center for Human Growth and Development, the Genetics Center at UT Southwestern.  Our ACGME certified training program in Medical Genetics is described on our Residency page.  A full description of the Program is contained in the McDermott Center web site.
