UT Southwestern Small Animal Imaging Resource

Philosophy and Goals
 
The SW-SAIR provides centralized coordination and integration of expertise and imaging infra-structure to enhance cancer research.

The SW-SAIR will foster development and implementation of enhanced imaging technologies and organize training of investigators in the science and art of imaging small animals.

The SW-SAIR is designed to stimulate productive interactions among cancer researchers, imaging scientists and oncologists.

The SW-SAIR builds on foundations of a pre-ICIMC . It has been established as a collaboration between:

It provides a centralized resource for academic and industrial collaborations and is a focus for a new Metroplex wide initiative involving the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, the University of Texas at Dallas and University of Texas at Arlington.
