Paul T. Weatherall, M.D.

Dr. Weatherall graduated magna cum laude from Southern Methodist University, with a B.S. in Biology, and obtained his medical degree from the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Weatherall caught "MRI fever" early in his medical career and as a research assistant ("go-fer") he helped work on the installation of the 5th magnet in the country in 1982. After completing a Diagnostic Radiology residency, at the Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Weatherall traveled to the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas for his MRI Fellowship training. He was certified by the American Board of Radiology in 1987. Dr. Weatherall is an MRI Specialist, with more specific clinical and research interests involving the MRI evaluation of joints, extremities, spine, breast and vascular disease.
Ronald M. Peshock,M.D.
Professor of Radiology and Internal Medicine.
Dr. Peshock received his BA in Mathematics from Michigan State University, in 1972. He continued to Medical School at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, graduating in 1976. After completing his Residency in Internal Medicine at Parkland Memorial Hospital, Dr. Peshock became a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1979. Afterwards, Dr. Peshock was also Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease after his Clinical Fellowship in 1982.
Dianne B. Mendelsohn, M.D.

Dr. Mendelsohn completed her undergraduate medical education in 1974 at the University of Witwatersrand Medical School, Johannesberg, South Africa. This was followed by internships in general surgery, internal medicine, pediatrics and the emergency room. Dr. Mendelsohn completed her Radiology Residency, Neuroradiology and Head and Neck radiology training also at the University of Witwatersrand. She was certified by the South African Board of Radiology in 1981, and the American Board of Radiology in 1987. Certification of Added Competence (CAQ) in Neuroradiology was obtained in 1995. Dr. Mendelsohn is a MRI specialist with more specific clinical and research interests in Neuroradiology and Head and Neck Radiology.
R. Douglas Sims, M.D.
Assistant Professor
Dr. Sims graduated with honors from Washington University, with a BA in English Literature. During this time, he attended Oxford University for two terms. Dr. Sims received his medical degree from the Unversity of Texas Southwestern Medical School in 1997.
After completing his internship at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in 1998, Dr. Sims attended UT Southwestern Center to complete his residency in diagnostic radiology and fellowship in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
