UT Southwestern Medical Center physicians take complex medical information about musculoskeletal rehabilitation and describe it to patients in easy-to-understand terms. In addition, we also offer patients access to educational materials that will help them to learn more about rehabilitation and why they are candidates for the treatment prescribed.
Patient education can make a significant difference in how patients approach rehabilitation for a musculoskeletal condition. In addition to access to UT Southwestern’s health-care professionals, patients may consult other educational materials to better understand what to expect before, during and after rehabilitation, and also to explore any possible follow-up treatments that might be needed.
