Patients receive compassionate, individualized rehabilitation treatments that help them gain a better control over breathing, reduce symptoms and complications, and improve endurance. In addition, our pulmonary rehabilitation specialists thoroughly advise patients on what actions they can take to achieve the best rehabilitation results.
A physician who specializes in pulmonary medicine directs a team focused on each patient’s unique situation. Along with other physicians who are pulmonary specialists, the team includes rehabilitation nurses and occupational, physical and recreational therapists.
Our physicians and rehabilitation specialists become active partners with our patients in helping to control their illness as well as instruct them about strategies that can help them effectively improve lung capacity as well as decrease anxiety and stress.
