UT Southwestern Medical Center physicians take complex medical information about pediatric imaging and describe it to patients and their families in easy-to-understand terms. In addition, we also offer patients access to educational materials that will help them to learn more about pediatric imaging and why they are candidates for the exam prescribed.
Patient education can make a significant difference in how patients and their families approach pediatric imaging. In addition to access to UT Southwestern’s health-care professionals, patients and their families may consult other educational materials to better understand what to expect before, during and after the exam.
