UT Southwestern Medical Center offers extensive clinical services through a network of well-respected affiliated hospitals and clinical practices offering comprehensive diagnostic services and therapies for citizens of the Dallas-Fort Worth area and around the world.
UT Southwestern's University Hospitals include:
- University Hospital - St. Paul, a 271-bed facility located on the northwest quadrant of the Harry Hines Boulevard and Inwood Road intersection. Referral services for UT Southwestern that are primarily based in the St. Paul building include cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, heart and lung transplantation, kidney and pancreas transplantation, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopaedic surgery, and vascular surgery. Additional services provided at St. Paul building include:
- University Hospital - Zale Lipshy, a 144-bed facility located on the South Campus is adjacent to Parkland Hospital. Faculty physicians provide diagnostic neurological services and treatments, including stroke patient care, as well as ophthalmology, oral surgery, psychiatric and other services.
General internal medicine and surgery services are offered at both sites as well as breast care, gastroenterology, geriatric services, head and neck surgery, nephrology, surgical oncology, vascular surgery, radiology, and physical medicine and rehabilitation.
We offer patients pre-registration for admission and professional training and development to clinical staff.
