Study Title: Effect of fenofibrate on hepatic fatty acid oxidation in moderately obese men with hypertriglyceridemia

Purpose of the Study: We are conducting a study to lower blood fats
Participant Eligibility: If you are an adult male and you have been told by your primary care physician that you are moderately obese and that you have high blood fats you may qualify for this study. The research participation involves at least two 2-day visits. Compensation is available for participation in the study. Persons who smoke cigarettes daily and drink more than one beer per day may not qualify for the study. Contact Laura at 214-648-9014 for study details.
