Study Title: Atrio-Ventricular Junction Ablation Followed by Resynchronization Therapy in Patients with Congestive Heart Failure and Atrial Fibrillation

Purpose of the Study: This study is being done to determine the effects of drug therapy, atrio-ventricular junction (AVJ) ablation and pacing on exercise ability, quality of life and heart function in patients with chronic atrial fibrillation (AF).
Participant Eligibility: Patients will need to have symptomatic permanent atrial fibrillation.
