This study is being done to determine the effects of drug therapy, atrio-ventricular junction (AVJ) ablation and pacing on exercise ability, quality of life and heart function in patients with chronic atrial fibrillation (AF). |

Patients will need to have symptomatic permanent atrial fibrillation. |
