Study Title: GOG 175: Randomized Phase III Trial of IV Carboplatin (AUC 6) and Paclitaxel 175 mg/m2 Every 21 Days for 3 Courses Plus Weekly Low Dose Paclitaxel 40 mg/m2/week Versus IV Carboplatin (AUC 6) and Paclitaxel 175 mg/m2 Every 21 Days for 3 Courses Plus Observation in Patients with Early Stage Ovarian Carcinoma

Purpose of the Study: To determine whether low-dose intravenous paclitaxel, after standard treatment, can prevent or slow the recurrence of ovarian cancer.
Participant Eligibility: 1. Patients must have a diagnosis of epithelial ovarian cancer. 2. Patients may have received no prior treatment for this malignancy except surgical therapy.
