Study Title: GOG-210: A Molecular Staging Study of Endometrial Cancer
Protocol Number: 042005-026
Department(s) involved in the Study: Gynecology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center
Purpose of the Study: To collect samples and information from patients who have endometrial cancer. Tissue, urine and serum will be collected from patients with endometrial cancer. Other information will also be collected (age, race, level of education, health history, family history). It is hoped that the information can be used by researchers to learn more about, treat and prevent endometrial cancer.
Participant Eligibility: 1. Patients with endometrial cancer or carcinosarcoma diagnosed by an endometrial biopsy or D&C who will undergo full surgical staging. 2. Patients who have not received prior pelvic or abdominal radiation therapy.
