Study Title: Improving Outcomes in Diabetic Nephropathy

Department(s) involved in the Study: Int Med - Nephrology
Purpose of the Study: If you have "Diabetes" and "Hypertension" you are at risk for developing "Kidney Disease" that could cause kidney failure requiring dialysis or a kidney transplant.
Participant Eligibility: 1. 20-65 years old 2. Diabetic 3. Taking medications for high blood pressure
Disease/Condition Under Study: Kidney disease caused by diabetes.
Cancer Related Study: No
Study Drug(s): Losartan, spironolactone
