 RESEARCH OVERVIEW

My interests have spanned two general areas: the influence of culture on the prevalence and expression of psychopathology in adolescents, and the role of mood in the management of chronic pediatric illness. I am beginning a series of preventive interventions to strengthen the family in Hong Kong. The development of brief, cost-effective, and sustainable interventions is a third area of interest.
