The Bipolar Disorder Research Program at UT Southwestern is a nationally recognized specialty program focusing on patients with disorders within the bipolar spectrum, including patients diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder, bipolar type, and cyclothymia. Dr. Suppes’ research interests include long-term treatment strategies for bipolar disorder, treatment strategies for bipolar II disorder, use of treatment algorithms, and combination treatment strategies for the bipolar spectrum.
