 RESEARCH OVERVIEW
 
Dr. Lee is the holder of the Meredith Mosle Chair in Liver Diseases since 2003. He leads a large clinical trials group at UT Southwestern performing pharmaceutical studies of new treatments for hepatitis B and C as well as NIH-sponsored research (The HALT-C Trial). He was the founding Principal Investigator for the Acute Liver Failure Study Group (ALFSG) that has been funded by NIDDK and based at UT Southwestern since 1998. His lab is exploring the molecular basis of hepatitis C viral resistance to therapy.
