Kathia D. Steel, DDS Prosthodontics/Cosmetics & Implant Dentistry
Dr. Steel earned her dental degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She then completed a three-year specialty program in Prosthodontics at Baylor Collage of Dentistry. Her prosthodontic background allows Dr. Steel to personalize each patient's dental needs no matter how severe their condition. She understands the dynamics of the smile, the preservation of a healthy mouth, and the creation of tooth replacements. She also prides herself on her ability to create beautiful smiles and improve patients' quality of life by making partial and complete dentures, crowns and bridges, and single or multiple tooth replacements supported by dental implants. Dr. Steel is a member of the American College of Prosthodontics, the Academy of Osseointegration, and the American Dental Association. In addition, Dr. Steel is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Department of Surgery, at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She is a board eligible Prosthodontist as well as a specialist in the revolutionary field of Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Steel was born and raised in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico. At age 15, she move to Kingwood, Texas. She is a Kingwood Highs School graduate and attended the University of St. Thomas Aquanas in Houston, Texas before she started her dental training at UTHSC at San Antonio.
