Julia A. McDonald, M.D., F.A.A.P. completed her undergraduate education at Texas Christian University (1985 - 1989). She received her M.D. from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, and completed a surgical internship there. She pursued postgraduate training at the University of Louisville, completing residency in general pediatrics (1994-1997) and fellowship in pediatric emerency medicine (1997-2000). Dr. McDonald is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric emergency medicine. She is a fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics. Her interests include: medical education and teaching, trauma, and improving patient satisfaction and education.
