Daniel Stromberg, MD, was born in Dallas, Texas. He joined the UTSW faculty in 1998 after completing three years of training in Pediatric Cardiology, and an additional year of Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care and Heart Transplantation fellowship at Texas Children?s Hospital, Baylor College of Medicine, Houston. His residency in General Pediatrics was completed at the University of California, San Francisco, where he also served an extra year as Chief Resident in Pediatrics. Dr. Stromberg currently serves as Director of the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at CMCD. In addition to his clinical and teaching responsibilities, he is conducting several research projects related to the inflammatory response to congenital heart disease, and pediatric resuscitation. He is married to a professional harpist.
