My research has been focused on regulation of L-arginine-nitric oxide pathway and the interplay of nitric oxide with reactive oxygen species in the pathogenesis of aquired and genetic hypertension as well as various other renal diseases in experimental animals. Another aspect of my research is focused on the pathogenesis of lupus nephritis in various murine models.
My clinical interest cover a broad spectrum of diagnostic renal pathology including directing a referral nephropathology service.
