Dr. Rush is Vice Chair for the Department of Clinical Sciences and Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He earned his BA at Princeton University, and his MD at the Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed his internship in internal medicine at Northwestern University, and residency in psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania. He has authored more than 470 papers and chapters and 10 books and has received continuous NIMH research support for 30 years.
