 PERSONAL OVERVIEW
     
Dr. Sarah Weitzul is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in cosmetic and surgical dermatology. She is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where she is Director of the Clinical Center for Cosmetic Dermatology, which she also founded.
Dr. Weitzul is an active member in both local and national dermatology organizations and is the current President of the Dallas Dermatologic Society. Dr. Weitzul is on various committees in several national organizations including the American Board of Dermatology, the American Academy of Dermatology, and the Women’s Dermatologic Society. She is a frequent speaker at national dermatology meetings. In addition to her busy practice, Dr. Weitzul teaches medical students, residents, and fellows about surgical and cosmetic dermatology and started the Resident Cosmetic Dermatology Clinic at UT Southwestern. She has authored textbook chapters and several original articles in the field of dermatology, both medical and surgical. Dr. Weitzul completed her dermatology residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center in 2001 and went on to complete a one year fellowship to specialize in procedural dermatology, where she earned the prestigious Theodore Tromovitch Award for her laser and light-based therapy research.
