Dr. Dewey was trained in Neurology and Movement Disorders at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He joined the neurology faculty at UT Southwestern Medical Center in July, 1994 where he helped to create the Clinical Center for Movement Disorders which he directs. Dr. Dewey has been involved in a number of clinical research projects in the field of movement disorders. His primary clinical interests are in the diagnosis and management of Parkinson's disease, dystonia, and other involuntary movement disorders.
