Welcome to the Department of Radiation Oncology   at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. 

At this site, you will find information about our clinical care, research, and educational programs. Faculty in the Department of Radiation Oncology provide care to patients at Moncrief Radiation Oncology Center in Dallas, Parkland Health and Hospital System, St. Paul University Hospital, Zale Lipshy University Hospital and the Simmons Cancer Center.

The mission of the
Department of Radiation Oncology is to:

Our Clinic • The W.A. Monty & Tex Moncrief Radiation Oncology Building in Dallas serves as the centralized site for all outpatient radiation therapy activities at Southwestern Medical Center. The director of the center is Dr. Hak Choy, professor and chairman of the Department of Radiation Oncology at UT Southwestern. A leading authority in the treatment of lung cancer using radiation therapy, Dr. Choy holds the Nancy B. and Jake L. Hamon Distinguished Chair in Therapeutic Oncology Research. He is a recognized leader in the development of new combined chemoradiation therapy for solid tumors.
